Hey everyone! Marjorie here. I've been the sole artist behind SpicyFrog64 and have been airbrushing consoles and controllers since 2016. Welcome to my new shop, and to my blog.
Most of my sales have always come from Etsy. Over the past years, I've always tried to move away from their platform as I consider them quite hostile to sellers. I've had a Shopify store, but also a BigCartel one, and yet I've always hovered back to Etsy, as they drive lots of traffic to my work.
Their slowly increasing fees, and my poor sales on their platform these past few years have encouraged me to try the more independent Shopify store again.
As my presence online dwindles, I have decided to start blogging about my work, as I think it is far more beneficial to my brand than mindless posting on social media - which I will not use anymore.
I also want to encourage more people to start painting their own controllers, it's a very fun and fulfilling hobby and I'm excited to share tutorials in the future.
To end this preface, I'd like to add that I absolutely do not support AI "art", nor do I support generative AI texts and whatnot, so please bare with my janky writing style, I shall try my best to be clear despite my quite French background.
